Protecting ICs from Static Discharge Expanded Lineup of Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Protection Diodes XBP06V0U2MR
Torex Semiconductor Ltd. (Tokyo Japan: President, Koji Shibamiya, 6616: 1st section at Tokyo Stock Exchange) has launched the XBP06V0U2MR as a new series of transient voltage suppressors (TVS).
The XBP06V0U2MR series of products are mounted in close proximity to an external interface to protect downstream ICs from electrostatic discharge.
Since the pin capacitance is as small as 0.8pF, it is possible to be used on high speed signal lines and they are ideal for line protection of USB2.0, HDMI, and other lines. Furthermore, two TVS diodes are in a compact SOT-23 (2.9mm x 2.8mm x 1.3mm Height) package with contributing space saving.
